Going Logo About This Project

The Process
For this project, we started out sketching designs on paper.  This took about three days to do.  After we drew all of our ideas, we chose our top four designs.  We then transferred them into Adobe Illustrator.  First, we had to create black and white versions of our designs.  Then, we made copies of the logos and tried out several different color schemes.  I then chose a color scheme from each logo.  Finally, I chose my favorite design and color scheme as my final logo.

The Reasoning
When choosing the shape and color for my logo design, I had many things to consider. I had to think about what different shapes and colors would say about me and my design.  One idea I had for the color scheme, was different shades of purple.  I chose purple because I wanted my logo to look kind of like an ink blob to represent creativity.  I also chose purple because it has the calming stability of blue and the fierceness of red.  I chose the shapes that I did to look like an ink blob.  Also, I tried to make the ink blob resemble a side ways triangle, because this symbolizes a play button and I am interested in animation.
